Wayne Dyer would agree and so would God I'm sure. Remember He (God) gave us a spirit of peace not a spirit of anxiety! When people are stressed there are a number of ways to find peace.

1. Read TWOG and pray more casting your woes on Him
2. Mediation on TWOG
3. Identify and confront the stress (1 axis at a time!)
4. Make a plan
5. Follow through

Different people are going to handle anxiety differently and find different paths to peace. Personally, I write. I'm writing a book on stress management now but it doesn't really apply to common anxieties. It applies to severe unmanaged stress (Stress-Synergies) like that found in school-shooters.

Encourage the people who are having difficulty with the stress to write it down because God knows when we go to talk to friends about our problems they don't always want to hear about it. Writing the issues down and taking realistic steps to resolve the problems helps me tremondously. Maybe this is just because my stress runs deep into my family history. Like an optical illusion of a pretzel-onion with self-replicating layers if they're not peeled in a way that is acceptable to me.

At any rate self-help books are a great amazing resource you can find at any library in which people litterally dedicate their lives to help you live a happier healthier longer life then you previously imagined possible. There is also a wide variety of self-help books written by christians like me

I like to think of it as “SOTHS TWOG” (Hard to pronounce but easy to remember!)

(2 Timothy 1:7) IT IS WRITTEN:

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
