2 Corinthians 11:16-31
So let me comfort you and join Paul in a little worldly boasting for just a moment. I too have suffered many insults when I tried to spread truth and Love and friendship. I'm sure I speak for more than myself when I say, Some people who I met with I tried to call friends when I met them and they replied: "I am not your friend!"
Of course I forgive them and understand that they are not set free from satan's lies yet. Only Jesus will set them free.
I too have suffered with you and hope to meet with you in heaven rejoicing in our triumphant victory over the world through Christ.
We are Children of God,
When we share in His sufferings we are Sons of God (not the begotton) but yet we are Sons of God. We are Loved even though for a short time it is painful. Jesus calls us "friends" and He is Lord over all, how can anyone stand against that?
Think of it this way: If you Love Jesus so very much for the forgiveness of your sins and you could press a button to allow you to suffer instead of Him for us and you pressed it, you have shared in his sufferings and His burden is light compared to what awaits us willing to suffer, never shrinking back, we are not cowards, we are not liars. Let the persecution remind you that He Loves you and rejoice with me for I too have suffered and am willing to boast about my suffering given the chance. It's just at times it hurts very bad but imagine the souls of sinners being saved through your pain and sorrow and in that, be a Son of our God in Heaven, brother of Jesus who is our saviour and raises us from the dead.
Neither height nor depth, life or death, earth or below can seperate us from the Love of God.
