Firstly, fornication is just sex in general (intercoursal), adultery is doing it out of your allowed boundaries.
Second question, yes theoretically it says you shouldn't, howeverthis is Jewish law, and I'm sure you're a gentile. Also the new covenant (which does NOT erase the first. Covenants are permanent, unlike, say, a contract) may allow the mercy, but as said previously, i think a sincere plead for foriveness for having to get divorced in the first marriage, even if it wasn't your fault, is required just to show you want to forget and move on, that you're sorry and you don't want that sin to get between you and Him.
