I would be the last one to argue with you about that. If we learned to love our wives as Christ loves the Church there would be far less trouble, if wives found it in their hearts to love their husbands as commanded by God there would be far less trouble.
The first recorded sin was I trouble- I will be, I will ascend, I will etc and the source of most sin and contention is the same today- to many people just caring about the big I person in their lives- themselves.
