The thing about arsonists is, when you have one, the first place you look is volunteer firefighters and security guards. They get the "hero" syndrome,  or bored. Our chief (my hubby) suspected him on some others and warned him, but he didnt listen. Now, we have to do damage control. Public image is very important to fire depts. because so many of them depend on donations for thier fundings. Even those that are funded by, say, the county, still need outside donations to supplement. Just a sad part of it.

hopefully things can be worked out and ya'll don't have too much of a backlash if any backlash from this.
