Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man,which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
We are to be renewed in our minds. As we receive revelation in the Word of God by His Holy Spirit we began to believe His Word above what we see , think , feel or sense- each area where this happens is an area were we are renewed in our mind.We become saturated with His Word and we are made new in the very life force of our thoughts. When we come into agreement with the Word of God and walk in faith there is no weapon conceived in hell that can stop us. God's Word is life, light and truth . The darkness allways flees the light.
