Isaiah 65:15
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

Mat 17:1-3 ESV And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. (2) And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. (3) And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him."
End of the story, fini, selah and amen. Elijah did NOT come back as a reincarnated John.

Ken, you just proved that you don't know the Scripture. Shameless. Who else is here confusing John the Baptist and John the Apostle?

Matthew 11
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, who was to come.
Jesus Christ is saying "this is Elijah".
Housesitter and Boanerges are saying "This is similar to Elias".
Who should I believe: Lord or moderators?
Or you know the Scripture as good as Ken does?
Moderators, you are playing dangerous translation games here!
Revelation 22
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
May GOD peace be with you.
