I think as Christian people who do not need to conform to this world but rather be transformed. We need to show them that we are different with different goals without being afraid of being seen as narrow minded. The Word separates, it divides; Jesus said think not that I have come into this world to bring peace but a sword. If we act like them, look like them, do like them, then we are of them. Jesus says to come out from among the world and be ye a separated people. Are we separated or are we compromising?
We cannot make a clean thing out of an unclean thing... just to fit in with the crowd. Touch not, handle not.
