Tropical Storm Noel Update, 31 October 2007, 05:00 Hrs CDT
Tropical Storm Noel has been slowly moving through Hispaniola and is now moving off the northeastern coast of Cuba and heading north northwest. Significant rainfall, mud slides, flooding and high Tropical Storm force winds have been felt all along it's path.
Persons in southeastern Florida should be monitoring this storm's progress. High winds, heavy rains and severe coastal beach errosion with 9 to 15 foot waves and rip currents will be present starting later today and extending through early Saturday, November 03. Coastal flooding from the central Florida Keys along the Atlantic coast of Florida to north of Fort Pierce and additional heavy surf and beach errosion all the way to the Georgia border will be present through Saturday.
