This is fantastic! Thanks to all of you so much! I pretty much know my collection inside and out (I'm one of those guys that can name any movie once it starts...even if all that's showing is a black screen, some music, and random names popping up on the intros...drives my friends nuts!).
I do have Narnia and The Lord of the Rings--however those never struck me as spiritual or uplifting. I belong to the Indian Shaker Religion (Native American - bible-based religion, very intense), and we're taught to reject things that are magical like wizards and witches. But if my brothers and sisters here see the message in these movies, I'm going to give those another viewing. I also have Prince of Egypt on VHS. After digging around over the weekend, I also found:
The Ten Commandments (musical - with Val Kilmer as Moses). I also accidentally stumbled on another movie over the weekend about a teacher who choses to teach in Harlem and never gives up on his students even though they try to run him out. He teaches them that they (the class) are a family, and his goal is to show them that they're bright and gifted students. I believe the name of this movie is the John Clark Story?
Thanks for the ideas and suggestions, you're all so wonderful!
