HURRICANE FELIX UPDATE 16:30 Hrs CDT-USA, 02 SEPT 2007
Hurricane Felix has been downgraded to a Cat 4 storm with maximum sustained winds at just over 150 MPH. The storm is moving almost due west at 20 MPH and will be making a Central America landfall near the Nicaragua - Honduras border early Tuesday September 03. The storm will then be downgraded as it looses it's water energy source, but it will impact Central America with heavy rainfall, flooding, extremely high winds and some tornadic activity.
The storm's track is losing it's northerly component influence and there is little chance that it will make any great impact on the Texas Coast (at this time).
