I'm going to be the party pooper for all of us in the South. Drink iced tea doesn't mean sweet tea. The way I like my tea is probably like drinking a coke with the amount of sugar it has.
What I do is only allow myself to drink certain drinks when I have certain foods. The only time I have a Coke is when I eat pizza. The only time I have sweet tea is when I am at a Barbecue place or at my grandmother's. Aside from that I only drink water when I go out to eat and at home it is either water, milk, or fruit juice.
