Two Advisories, August 13, 2007
(1) For any members OR viewers from the US State of Hawaii: Please monitor your local NOAA Weather information stations and local media. Pacific Storm, Hurricane Flossie, will be moving to your south over the next several days and will produce rain bands, high winds, high surf, beach errosion and some power outages. We do not track Pacific storms, so please look to your local officials and media for updates.
(2) Tropical Depression # 4 has formed in the Atlantic and is approaching the area surrounding Hispaniola. This storm has the potential to increase in intensity and if it becomes a named Tropical Storm, we will post advisories about it in a separate Named thread.
