ROMANS 2:11 (Care)
|
|
Greetings Brothers in Christ, today I have written a mini-preach
about a verse that stuck out to me after looking through the bible
for a long while, this verse is ROMANS 2:11. Which i will quote now from
the NIV bible version. "For God does not show favoritism", and now i will
quote it again from a different version of the bible called
"The Message", this version elaborates what the NIV version says.
"Being a Jew won't give you an automatic stamp of approval.
God pays no attention to what others say (or what you think)
about you. He makes up his own mind." Take into consideration that
this is just someones point of view of what the verse means it
may not be correct, but it is along the right lines and gives
a good point.
The lord does not care what others think of you he takes it into
no consideration whatsoever, neither does he take into consideration
what you think of yourself either, as this verse implies.
In todays society for the most part many people only worry about money
and how they look on the outside whether they appeal to others,
but not taking time to look at the big picture which is that nothing
matters more than pleasing God. It is pointless to try to appal to others
for where do they go in the end? they perish they are gone, where God
is always there, always has been and always will be. He is always
watching you and everything you do, he is the only one that will ever
know more about you than you yourself do. Everything you do and even think
is known to Him.
So when you get up in the mornings do not prepare
yourselves for others by puting on your best pair of clothes and doing
your hair ect, these things are still good to do in their own time,
but rather pray and rejoice for this day that the Lord has given you,
pray for the poor and needy and ask that they will recieve their needs
and prepare your heart for the day ahead, that you may complete the
Fathers will and not fall into temtation and sin, for all of these are
the things that truly matter. For though you yourself or others may think
you are ugly or not pleasing to the eye God looks on you and sees you for
what you truly are, His creation exactly, as he intended and made you to be.
To him we are all good-looking all crafted by his perfect and pure hands
Rejoice for this fact for to the masters eyes you are perfect.
And that is all that came to mind,(remember this is just my opinion)
thank the LORD dear brothers, rejoice!
