Boanerges is correct on this point as Paul was talking about the "marks" of brutal beatings and such which were done because he professed Christ.

Don't take your theology from the internet. Open up a Bible. Besides, Satan isn't a physical being to be clothed like physical beings.
I know a guy who recently brought this question up to me and I'll give you a part of the answer I gave him.
Tattoos are for the most part, permanent markings (although now it is possible to have them taken off). If the Bible was against Tattoos in the O.T., it probably wasn't Israelites declaring their love for God. It was probably pagan symbols and relations to other Gods.
The cross or bracelet that you wear-what is their purpose? One purpose would be to let other people outwardly know how you identify yourself. If you got a tattoo, it's like you're wearing a permanent outward symbol. I'd probably think this above normal bracelets or necklaces as it will be a physical, outward witness for much longer.
Now did I get one on my 18th birthday? Well, no. But that's because I'm not much for bracelets and necklaces, even if they do promote Christ. Now if I was, I'd probably go out and get a tattoo tomorrow, but just so long as it was a Christian one that I could use as a witness.
