That is NOT scriptural and a work of fiction. It was "formulated" as a hypothesis several centuries ago by those false teachers who were trying their best to come up with an alternate "explaination" of how the earth was populated.
However, all one has to do is to read Genesis for the correct creation timelines.
God created man ('adam' in Hebrew - note the lower case) on the sixth day - and it was good. He rested on the seventh day and then realized that he had not created a 'husbandman - or farmer. On the eighth day he created Eth Ha Adam (Hebrew for 'THE man Adam', note upper case) - the seed line through which Christ would eventually come from. He then created Eve.
Those persons centuries ago just didn't get it?
What didn't they get you ask?
Well, now - after Cain killed Abel, Cain was banished from the Garden and went east to the land of Nod and took a wife.
WHERE THE HECK DID SHE COME FROM?
She was of the sixth day creation. There have been numerous discussions here regarding that entire time line and you may get some insight into that discussion by reading the "Adam and Eve" thread in the Bible Studies area.
Enjoy your studies!
