If Microsoft administration were not so arrogant, perhaps their 'image' in the computing world would be a bit better, however, with their mindset of Global Domination, they have a poor reputation... and getting worse each year. Many persons do not know that the software writers of Microsoft software, including the browser software, often include code in the program that does absolutely nothing, but are private messages back and forth to other software writers as an insider's joke. (I first saw those in Windows 95). Actually, the only 'joke' is Microsoft software...

We used to use Netscape and when that was taken over by the Mozilla Foundation and converted/updated into Firefox, we were pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Nice to see a David and Goliath situation here where a 'little guy' takes on the giant.
A variation on the 'how many ... does it take to change a light bulb' joke contains some insight and truth about Micro$oft:

How many Micro$oft engineers does it take to change a light bulb?

Answer:

None. They redefine darkness as the new standard.
