Just curious, but why do you think its your responsibility to care for strangers, who you know nothing about and probably dont deserve anything more than they have?

It is terribly sad when a church member is faithful to the services and is driving on dangerous tires because they can't afford new ones.

Its your fault they dont have enough money?

There are members, children and adults both, whose shoes are falling off their feet and wear the same 2 outfits to church while other members are dressing in the most expensive and elaborate apparel they can buy.

Those rich people have earned their money though and they have worked hard for it. Why should they feel guilty because they have earned more than others? The poor adults can make that money too if they want. They need to work for it though. I dont think its another persons responsibility to make sure strangers are doing okay. Each person needs to take care of himself and not expect handouts from others.
I have not meant to be offensive with this, so please dont take it that way. Its just my opinion. Feel free to prove me wrong.
