In context,
(24"But woe to you who are rich,
for you have already received your comfort.
25Woe to you who are well fed now,
for you will go hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will mourn and weep.
26Woe to you when all men speak well of you,
for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets.)
It is simply implying where our hearts are.
Where is our true focus for our happiness and our reward?
There is nothing wrong with laughing.
I laugh all the time and am quite silly.
At the same time, I will deal with my troubles, trials and tribulations, knowing my reward is beyond life on this earth.
And, though we do have everything we need in this family, I credit God and we always help others.
I personally could not be rich and feel good about myself.
You don't have to look very far to find someone in need.
