Those on the east coast are experiencing storm surge and tropical storm conditions from the low pressure system situated about 300 miles off the Georgia coast.

The NHC has designated the system 90.L and will be flying a Hurricane Hunter into it tomorrow. Right now, it probably WILL NOT become Tropical Storm Andrea, but it is definately something to watch.

Seas are 15 to 30 feet and sustained winds are just under 40mph.

This is a "cold core" storm, so even though it looks, walks, and talks like a hurricane, technically it is not.
