Evil was a choice. God gave Adam and Eve free will to be 'good', but they chose to sin (absence of good). How could you say this person is 'good' if he/she has done nothing to prove it? Let's say we define a person who is not a drug addict as 'good'. But would we say so if that person never even had a chance to see or touch drugs in his life? Or if he was brainwashed/programmed not to take drugs, would we say he's 'good' on his own?
I hope you understand my point. Maybe I'm still unable to put things clearly.
