God is pure good (holy if you will) He didn't create good He is good. When he created everything He gave some of his creation a choice, alternitives, the capibility to deside, free will (we call it).
The nateral result of this is evil, which is the the disobediance to, rejection of and rebelion against the Holyness of God.
Since Lucifer rebeled evil has been personified in the world. Since the Garden of Eden man kind has been under the enfluence of it.
Evil was not created, but the by product of free will, both in heaven and on earth.
Why would God allow such a thing to exist???
For love. . .
For love to be love it must have the choice, the free will to deside, the freedom to accept or reject the love of a holy creator.

But if good is embodied by God (or vice versa) then whenever our will is evil and prevails then we are proved stronger than God (though by no means am I saying this is the case). If God's design included us having a choice and he knowing that we would naturally choose evil then why didn't God create people that would naturally choose good, get rid of Satan (or for that matter create angels that would joyfully praise him), and have avoided ever sending his son to die. If good is embodied by God then what about evil? It can't be embodied by Satan because God created Satan and would have to have knowingly created a being that would 'create' evil. God had a choice to do this and he did.
Does anyone get the feeling I'm rambling on? Too many questions (these jsut name a few) and too few answers. Probably shouldn't have posted this thread, too many questions with no conceivable answers.
In Christ (for sure)
