To my amazment they raised the water level in the lock for one solitary normal size boat (less than 10 meters in length) while I was there. Before the water was raised - it looked like a toy as far down as it was in this immense lock.

Anyway the visit was a Cecil B. DeMille moment - uh.. well... Bo and Dusty will know what I mean.
