Just be careful when it hits, though...there's a certain root that grows in the Pacific NW. Two types. One is delicious. Sweet. Fruit from the soil. The other can kill you in a matter of hours if you eat it. The only difference between these two roots are a slight variation in color of the leaves.
Makes you wonder how people figured this out, huh? I love me some huckleberries. Oooh! And some wild strawberries from the mountains. Yummy! Make some cobbler with that.
