Sorry Boanerges, I only get to visit periodically. I have no problem debating controversial subjects as long as the tone remains friendly. And I seen no evidence whatsoever to indicate that you will do anything but that(remain friendly I mean).
I personally am not a big fan of tongues because I believe a lot of people abuse the gift. However, I cannot condemn the practice either. The best Scripture in my opinion concerning tongues would be
1Corinthians 14. As long as it's done along these guidelines, then I say OK.
But absolutely no where in the Bible have I read that you must speak in tongues to be saved.
