When you talk to your siblings, loved ones, whoever you feel most comfortable around.... Notice how you talk more naturally and from the heart as opposed to talking to a stranger. When you're comfortable, what you're doing is dropping, at least a bit, things that are not of God such as fear of judgement, insecurities, fear of the other person not understanding....etc. So just like that your mind is off of focusing on this acting that you're doing by second nature, because of these insecurities and what not. So then you're more so speaking from the true you. The spirit. Things that are of God.
That's why to be very spiritual, to speak in tongues, to be very TRUE and spiritually powerful, you need to DROP EVERYTHING that is not of God.
If you are worrying about people not understanding you, or thinking you are crazy and what not, you will then hold back from saying exactly what you feel in your heart, (which should be Holy Spirit inspired words that are of God and very powerful) and you'll be altering the truth as your HEART and the HOLY SPIRIT and GOD see it, so that you work within the realm of what you believe they know... You know... so you don't confuse them. Bad idea. So then they never really step out of what they know. If you just let go of everything not of God and speak in the spirit, then BAM, the person listening has to use imagination to explore what you're saying and have God convict them and help them to discern it for themselves. THEN it is POWERFUL TRUTH.
So you can't worry about looking like you're mentally handicapped (As many super-filled people do. The way they talk.) You die of yourself THAT much. And in turn are used by God THAT much more.
Use your imagination and see how dropping anything that you know is not of God will have you seeing more spiritually, seeing reality, and living in the spirit. To name a few things.
The more you die, the more you live.
