Tts 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
This is a blessed hope for the Christian. I stand firm in my faith and take up my cross each day. As a Christian man, I also fear nothing about the return of my Lord but I raise my hands and welcome Him with joy. However, I do believe that we are to learn off one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
So my question would be, if you want to grow in the Lord and grow in faith. How does this happen without hearing the Word of God? We can read a passage of the Bible and interpret it, but does it make it accurate? If this would be the case then why would we all go to Church at all? We go to Church because someone has gone to school and was put in a position by God to lead the Church. Myself being a Youth Pastor for 17 years I understand the Word of God and understand how we grow in the Lord and where that faith comes from. I agree with the quote above, but I think knowledge is key in growing in the Lord.
