I think it shows that the time man has been on earth is much less that scientists would have us believe, and to me that is so exciting.

Jax? The ark landed in that area after the flood. It's hard to say what the earth looked like before the flood. We can only speculate with the few bits of information the bible gives us. Even with that it's a pretty light picture.
