Rectory Study Bible: "The Companion Bible" which is an Authorized King James Version of 1611 with word origin notations in the margin from E.W. Bullinger. This 'Companion Bible" is used along with an original vintage "Strong's Complete Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Red Letter Edition", to reference back to the Original Manuscript Languages in Hebrew, Aramaic, Chaldean and 'street' Greek.
Every Day Reading: "The New Living Translation" by Tyndale Publishing ( most accurate modern wording compared to the texts of the KJV in the opinion of many evaluators.)
Also in our Chapel Library: Vintage issues of "The New International Version"; "The Revised Standard Edition" and "The Living Bible" - which are just used to determine false translation parameters as compared to the Original Manuscripts.
Please remember that possessing ANY Bible is better than none at all. Stay in God's Word - Use the research tools that God has provided. Compare various versions and try to look for the original word meanings as placed on stone tablets and parchment manuscripts by the Prophets and Scribes, for a more in-depth understanding of God's Message to us: The Holy Bible.
